WEATHER

Argentina has exceptional natural beauties, embracing a very diverse territory of mountains, plateaus and prairies with all the posible climates. It also has various climate and landscape regions.

North-West

It sands out with a warm climate, with mountains of various colours, the Puna high plateau, the gullies, the vallies and the very characteristic population settlements of great historic value.

Great Chaco

An area majorly forestal with jungles of subtropical climate, swamps and lagoons.

Mesopotamia

In its north side it offers a subtropical climate and in the south more template. It has a great richness in flora and fauna. It is crossed by large rivers and contains in its territory small hills, lagoons and swamps.

Cuyo

It owns montainous characteristics (including the Aconcagua mountain), template and arid climate. Nevertheless, man hands have transformed it into the most ideal soil for wine industry thanks to the water irrigation.

Centre Hills

The hills of centre Córdoba and San Luis possess a very dry and template climate very benign with numerous rivers and artificial water mirrors.

Pampa Humeda

Template climate, possessing the most productive land of the country, and one of the best in the whole world, for the agricultural and livestock activities. Its plain land is only interrupted by the Tandil and Ventana hills
To the east it offers extense and very popularly attended beaches over the Atlantic Ocean.

Patagonia

The most extense region. Of colder climate (accentuated in the south land), to the west it is mainly formed by a mountainous landscape crossed by spectacular forests, lakes and glaciers; to the centre it is crossed by an arid plateau and to the east by large beaches that own various marine fauna to observe. In the south region we find the most southern land on earth.

CURRENCY

The argentinian peso is the oficial currency.

The notes are 2, 5 10, 20, 50 y 100 pesos. One peso is equivalent to one hundred cents.

The 2 pesos notes are blue (with the figure of Bartolomé Mitre 1821-1906),
the 5 pesos notes are Green (with the figure of José de San Martín 1778-1850),
the 10 pesos notes are maroon (with the figure of Manuel Belgrano 1770-1820),
the 20 pesos notes are red (with the figure of Juan Manuel de Rosas 1793-1877),
the 50 pesos notes are blue-ish grey, (with the figure of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento 1811-1888)
and the 100 pesos notes are violet (with the figure of de Julio Argentino Roca 1843-1914).

Coins value 1 peso and then 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents.

Coins are Gold and silver, 50 cents coins are Golden, 25, 10 and 5 cents coins can be both silver or Golden and 1 cent coins are copper, but are rarely used.
